IRS trained volunteers prepare basic income tax returns free of charge at VITA sites for individuals of low to moderate income, individuals with disabilities, non-English speaking taxpayers and the elderly. Such volunteers also prepare basic income tax returns free of charge at TCE sites for individuals 60 years of age or older. Many of these VITA/TCE sites offer IRS e-file free of charge to the taxpayer. Tax preparation training, electronic filing training and supplies are provided free of charge every December and January. Volunteers are generally needed between December and April of the following year. Individuals with bi-lingual skills (especially Spanish) a plus! A minumum 20 hour commitment (total) during the months of January to April for volunteers is required.

About the DABC Free Tax Supersites
• All DABC Free Tax SuperSites prepares basic federal and State of Colorado income tax returns free of charge for individuals of low to moderate income. They are an authorized IRS e-file provider. Please see the website for a list of locations in the Denver area.
• No appointment is necessary at any DABC SuperSite (between January and April only). Assistance is offered on a first-come, first-served basis. Last year the average wait time at a DABC site was less than 30 minutes. Most free tax sites average more than a three hour wait! Appointments are required between May and October. The DABC sites are not open in November or December.
• Spanish Assistance - Site provides translators or preparer's that speak Spanish for return preparation
