Welcome to Global Denver!
Global Denver is a collaborative initiative that celebrates the international and ethnic communities of the Metro Denver region!
As a hub in the new global economy, Denver is increasingly becoming a prominent international city. Denver International Airport recently celebrated its 10th birthday and reached the 50 million passenger milestone. Metro Denver is home to 83 foreign-based companies with over 17,000 local employees, and an additional 743 companies participate in the global economy through exports. International activity accounts for nearly 123,000 jobs and over five billion dollars in wages in Metro Denver every year! In addition, over 180,000 foreign tourists and 5,000 foreign students come to our region every year.
GlobalDenver.org is intended to be an online portal to community resources, events, and organizations. We invite employers, investors and entrepreneurs who are interested in improving their position in the domestic and global marketplace to learn more about our business resources and jobs in the region.
Each year, Denver is a portal into the United States for over 10,000 foreign immigrants, who come from across the world, including Latin America, Asia, and Africa and have come to work, recreate, study, and to grow their businesses. Over 17% of Denver residents are foreign-born, and many of Denver’s ethnic communities have been in Colorado for generations. Meet our international communities and learn more about the many events and opportunities to experience the international cultures of Denver!
If you are visiting the area, are new to Denver, or considering relocating to our region then the City of Denver invites you to explore the many opportunities that living in Denver can provide and explore our immigration resources to make your transition smooth.
We hope that you find the website useful and informative. If you have any questions or comments, please feel free to contact us!
